The Hobbit third movie confirmed!!!

Hey guys! Good news to LOTR fans! I'm sure all of you ringers out there have heard the Hobbit movie. Peter Jackson, director, has recently confirmed a third Lord of the Rings: The Hobbit movie! That raises so many questions...

The first part, An unexpected journey, is released in December 14, 2012. The second, There and back again, is released in December 13, 2013. Now the third movie... we don't know yet. That's just one more question to add to the pile.

Peter Jackson is willing to finish what JRR Tolkien has started. If only he had lived to see this.

As a fan, I'm really excited about the Hobbit becoming a trilogy. I'm so glad Lord of the Rings becomes six movies like Star Wars! The Hobbit has too much to fit in a movie, and at first I thought it would fit in two. I find it a bit odd that the Hobbit expanded in the same number of movies as the LOTR trilogy, since the Hobbit is only around 300 pages while LOTR has around 1100 pages and three books. I hope Peter Jackson is keeping the original story the way it is and not inventing too much. But other than that, I'm really glad there's going to be another one to keep LOTR alive.

And it also means more Legolas! *cough*Voronda*cough*

“We know how much of the story of Bilbo Baggins, the Wizard Gandalf, the Dwarves of Erebor, the rise of the Necromancer, and the Battle of Dol Guldur will remain untold if we do not take this chance. The richness of the story of The Hobbit, as well as some of the related material in the appendices of The Lord of the Rings, allows us to tell the full story of the adventures of Bilbo Baggins and the part he played in the sometimes dangerous, but at all times exciting, history of Middle-earth.So, without further ado and on behalf of New Line Cinema, Warner Bros. Pictures, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Wingnut Films, and the entire cast and crew of “The Hobbit” films, I’d like to announce that two films will become three.”- Peter Jackson (On Facebook)

What do you think about a third movie?

Dear Fellow Star Wars fans, If you wish to scroll past this, that is okay with me. But by commenting on this post, you are promising to never give up on this fandom. Through the ups and downs, the rivalries, the fights. No matter how long you have been a fan, if you truly love the movies, and would do anything for them, I accept you. We have been together through The Originals, The Prequels, The Old Republic, The Clone Wars. And we will continue to stick together as one through new episodes and beyond. I just want you all to know that I love you. Every single person who takes the times to read this message. And we all love the same six movies. These movieswho will always have a place in our hearts, no matter where life takes us. This fandom is the greatest, kindest, wildest, fandom I have ever been a part of. You have any problems at all, no matter how personal, I assure you, any of us would love to chat. We are a true family. We are Star Wars fans. Star Wars, for some of us, are the reason we are still breathing, the reason we are still alive today. If I could say one thing to my favorite fandom, I would say this: Thank you, for being you.

I got it from a facebook status HERE that really touched me. I'm not that huge of a directioner, but I'm that huge of a Star Wars fan. So changed it a little and I'm sure all of you Star Wars fans out here can agree. Just to clarify, I didn't write this thing- I just changed it a bit to suit Star Wars. I feel the same about some other fandoms, not only as strongly as this. Hope this moved you. So... May the Force be with you...

London Olympic 2012... and some random stuff

Hey guys! It's been a long time since I've done a good long post, so here it is. There's some stuff that has been going on in my head and I wanna share that. I also saw the London Olympics and I just want to tell you about how I feel too.

Let's start with the random stuff.

To all Star Wars fans, this picture would be familiar:

Yes, that's right. The Jedi Archives. I use it as my background too.

That is really similar to the Bodlien Library. What an amazing coincidence. I just found out.

Maybe I'll do a post on 9gag about it.

Anyway, moving on. I am watching Pirates of the Carribean, and I have to say that movie is EPIC. I have wanted to watch that since I found out Orlando Bloom is in there. So. I'll be doing a review on the whole Pirates of the Carribean series soon, so stay tuned!

Now to Orlando Bloom... yeah... my *crush* on Legolas is moving on to basically every Orlando Bloom character I found in the movies. The funny thing is I knew Orlando Bloom before Legolas and I never had a *crush* on him until Legolas came along. I saw him in Kingdom of Heaven as Bailian and Troy as Paris way before Lord of the Rings and now Pirates of the Carribean, even though I didn't know it was Orlando Bloom acting them since I was so young. And when I went back to listen to Hannah Montanna/ Miley Cyrus songs because I missed the TV show, I heard "Is that Orlando Bloom?" in the background and I pretty much freaked out. I used to listen to Hannah Montanna songs so much and I never really noticed that Orlando Bloom's name is in there. Okay, now I finish ranting out my fangirl side.

Speaking of TV show... I can't resist sharing this. I made me ROFL... quite literally.

Oh, and I redid my short hair and tied it to look like Will Turner in Pirates of the Carribean (Orlando Bloom, basically). I kept my Padawan braid but tied it back to make it look somehow like Legolas's braid. It feels pretty weird to go on like that since I'm a girl, but then I'm never really girly. Dressing my hair up as my favorite characters made me feel... like a boss.

There's some Star Wars funny pictures on 9gag I'd love to share!

Yes, true... ask Luke. I don't know how.

I wish I do...

I get that feeling a lot...

This is just LOL. And there's two of my favorite movies in there!

I feel the same way when I finish my chores...

Jabba the cat...

'Nuff said.

Pretty old, but still a good joke.

I'd like to see Vader choke that dude...

Nerds FTW.

I found this so long ago but I still love it.

Facebook should have this.

From now on, I'm saying this instead of YOLO

I'd love to see a video of this!

This one is so hilarious.

Okay, now hopefully you all have a smile on your face, because that's all it's about! :)

Now to the Olympics. This is getting longer than I thought!

They showed the history of England and it's ages... which I thought was pretty cool but I'm not putting the pictures down here about it since it's a long enough post as it is. Then there was culture and stuff... then the athletes. One thing I thought... where is One Direction? Too bad. Anyway, here are some highlights.

I can't help thinking:
One Ring to rule them all
One Ring to bind them
One Ring to bring them all
And in the darkness bind them.
Any ringers out there? ;)

Rowan Atkinson/The famous Mr. Bean!!! His acting here really made me laugh.

There were lots of dancing. Some of them are really cool.

JK Rowling made a fabulous appearance!!! I can't thank her enough for making Harry Potter. Her sight seems to warm me up like Star Wars do. Harry Potter was, is, and always will be a part of me that I'll treasure.

Voldemort with Marry Poppins!!! I kinda freaked out here!

And the Olympic rings... epic.

The appearance of the queen was awesome. Dropping down from a helicopter like that... someone acted her well. The Hunger Games... another great saga.

Does the queen look like Bilbo Baggins? Looks so to me.

Olympics archery. *cough*One of my favorite sports- others are swimming (also syncronized), table tennis, badminton, fencing, and basically every water sports.

That's it... so for Star Wars nerds... May the Force be with you!
For Potterheads... I don't know how I'm really gonna say this so I'm going to use the last line... until next time... all is well.
For Hunger Games fans... May the odds be ever in your favor.
For Ringers... One does not simply say goodbye.

See ya!

Happy Birthday Kayla!

Today is a very special day... because it's Kayla's 16th birthday!!! Yay! Actually, the day's almost over and I'm just getting ready for bed, because here in Thailand the timezone is pretty different from America. I hope I calculated it right and it's still morning there!

To Kayla: Wishing you a very happy birthday. I made a card for you that unfortunately I can't hand in person, but here it is. I included Mando'a and Aurebesh- and your favorite characters I know you like. Thanks for Robyn for checking it out too. Even though I'm not Christian, God Bless!

For everyone else, wishing everyone a very happy Wednesday. I'm signing out, trying to get over my fear of Bloody Mary (Any suggestions?), and May the Force be with you!

My Fan Art #3 :)

I haven't done a decent post in awhile. So okay... another time of my fan art! Notice it says fan art, not edits, and that's because this time I included my drawings. It's been awhile since I did that... since I'm not a very good artist with a pencil.

Also, I put the watermark there for... security reasons. If you want one, I'll give you one without watermark if you send an email to solaceutara@gmail.com.

Another thing is, as usual, many thanks go to Robyn for her wonderful critiques! I won't be posting the revised ones, since they are pretty similar though improved. Anyway, here we go!

Nothing much to say here, but please support the cause!!! I know there are some claims that it is false, but even if there's a slim chance that it is true, then it's worth fighting for. I believe it's true, anyway.

Taylor Swift is my favorite singer. She's amazing. My heart seems to melt every time I hear her. It almost turns liquid- but Star Wars turns completely into boiling water, though. Ha.
Oh, and One Direction makes my heart soar and dance too. As well as some other music, which I just listed on the sidebar. Too bad Selena isn't on there... she's good.

Nothing much to say here either... I'm just playing around with photoshop, though it has some mistakes like the blurry hand.

I tried to make a red lightsaber glow out of this one, but apparently I failed miserably- as you can see. But I still think it's pretty cool this way.

I've never done one of this, so I thought I'd just do it when the idea popped into my head. I'm no big fan of the Empire though- but I'm impressed at how it gained power.

The original one before I added the effects.

Legolas was here. Yes, Voronda. If you're reading this, I stole the background picture off your blog. To everyone else, I'm saying that to give Voronda credit. So this picture is dedicated to her- but  LEGOLAS IS STILL MINES AND ALWAYS WILL BE MINES!!! Anyway, I edited the picture to put Legolas in there- a bit transparent to show he's a spirit. That didn't work out pretty well, but it was okay.

Now my drawings- Ahsoka of course. She's easy to draw. The face is still kinda distorted though- but I'm pretty proud of the shading. The quality is bad though- sorry for that, I took a picture with my webcam.

Another one I took with my webcam. Sorry for the quality again- I don't have a scanner. This one is not really distorted but the shading is not that good.

That's it for now! Hope you like them! Until next time... May the Force be with you!

The Versatile Blogger Award

Wow... another award! Thank you to Aalya at Fangirl & Farmgirl for this award! You're awesome!

Now for the seven random things about myself:
1) My novel that I'm hoping to publish is now on chapter five of the first draft.
2) I have a lousy brother.
3) I mentioned this a hundred times, but I'm mentioning it again. I hate chocolate.
4) I'm entering 8th grade this summer. Time sure flies...
5) I have over a hundred dolls in my house, even though I'm not that girly girl type. Just collecting since I was small.
6) I've been to over 20 countries, but sadly never America.
7) I'm currently reading Rebuplic Commando, because it's the last series I haven't finished reading in the prequels.

Now I'm going to give this award to a few other bloggers that I never gave before:
Savanna, Arda, and Chris

I don't really think they'll do it, but oh well! May the Force be with you!

Beautiful Blogger Award

1) Thank the person who nominated you for this award: Thank you to Shena at Pens, Thespians, and Words for giving me this award!

2) Tell us how the idea of making a blog popped into your head and why you continue it: Well, I really loved writing and one day on facebook I saw a link on an Ahsoka Tano page that went to Padawan's Journal, where I read a review of a season four episode. Then from that blog it was linked to other blogs, specifically Secrets of the Force. There's also an option for me to make my own, so I just clicked it and poof. This blog is formed.
I continued it because on my first post I was really surprised someone actually read and commented on it (Yes, that's you Shena). If someone actually enjoys my post, then I'm glad to make them happy- because it makes me happy too. So I continued with whatever pops into my head- starting with my fan fiction, which I just recently finished. It poped up when I woke up one morning thinking it's time to start another day, and my thoughts wandered to TPM... every saga has a beginning. Thus began the first line of my fan fic, which made me discover the depth of my love for writing.

3) Describe a usual day of your life: Wake up, brush my teeth and take a bath, ride a bike to school (if there is school), eat breakfast, learn, eat lunch, learn, go to train in the swim team, open my laptop to check new updates, do my homework, eat dinner, go to sleep.

4) Best collaboration with a blogger(s): I don't really have much, but there's one interview with James on his blog, and now I'm doing a photoshop with Robyn.

5) Worst collaboration with blogger(s): I don't have one, because I collaborated only once apart from that Star Wars fan art I'm doing now, and it was a great experience.

6) Explain what having this blog means to you: It means a lot. I love connecting with other people around the globe who loves the same thing I do, and I love talking in English with a good speaker, not here where everybody speaks Thai. I love sharing my thoughts and reading other people's thoughts, and I feel I'm a much better person when I'm writing because of how it strengthens my English.

7) Nominate 5 followers for this award: That would be need2read, Edessa, Helen, Robyn, and Jamie. If you're not on here and you know that you comment a lot, it's not because I forgot you but it means you got the 'I love your blog award' already, and I want to give all my awesome followers at least one.

That's it... May the Force be with you!

PLC needs two more followers!

This is just a friendly reminder that PLC needs only two more followers to reach hundred! Please follow that awesome blog if you haven't already. Savanna will start a Star Wars autograph giveaway. You can make a difference. So thank you!

Oh, and by the way, this is my 100th post. Yay! Thank you for everyone who made my blog the way it is! :)
