Revival Review

Possible spoilers ahead...

Now this is what I have been looking forward to. This is what I wanted. 

To be honest, I had so many things to worry about that I didn't have much time to get excited about season five. The trailers did pump me up though.

I'm gonna make this short and sweet, because I'm really sick and I feel like throwing up with everything I do.

I loved the non-stop action in this episode. Throughout it everything was enjoyable. Then there was Hondo Onaka with his Jack Sparrow Pirate style, which was absolutely hilarious. I remember the Jack Sparrow and Davvy Jones scene which went somehow like Jones asking if he can let an innocent man, Jack's friend, to a lifetime of servitude and he roams free. Jack pretends to think about it and said yep, eagerly. Now Hondo was like, worried to leave Obi-Wan with those crazy maniacs, and I was like "awww, he does have a heart after all..." then that yep-like okay. Ouch, but hey, they're pirates. 

Then there was the nicely done scene of Savage's arm cut off, and green ooze coming out. Now that I come to think of it, I don't think I have ever seen blood. They're really tough; it makes me think of Dooku's death scene. Anyway, I thought that was pretty pathetic of them... limping off... I guess they are heading back to Dathomir. I also like the end scene, even though I wanted Anakin to speak and Ahsoka to at least be there. Yoda seemed reasonable, but I still think the best choice is to peruse Maul. But who am I to judge when he's so wise? But he's influenced by a Sith...

Then the characters! Obi-Wan. This is what I wanted to see in him. The Negotiator- even though he did not negotiate in this episode. Our hero. The brothers. As evil as ever. 

Adi Gallia. Now I feel a disturbance in the Force... in my heart... in the Clone Wars... whatever. Why? She is supposed to die on Boz Pity in the hands of Grevious, not this. TCW is messing up cannon... and what about Even Piell dying? Also, I don't completely get how Maul is back. But I guess it is up to us to decide ourselves. I can't decide Darth Maul coming back is not cannon though, like you, Shena. Anyway, The brothers need to put more of a stand. Savage is underestimated. And there's no plot development. Oh well.

In the end, I was pleased all the same. I liked the episode, even when it has its faults. Every episode has its faults. Anyway, this is me at the end of the episode, and the minion and Gru at the back is my family. xD

Gotta love Despicable Me.

My Birthday

Hey everyone! I just wanted to say thank you so much for all your lovely comments on my last post for my birthday! You have no idea how much they mean to me. They are all a perfect birthday present.

My dad gave me a wake up happy birthday call and so did my mom, waking me up on the wrong side of the bad. Oh well.

My mom gave me money to buy any book I want, which I thought was pretty nice. My dad was busy at work, but usually every year he would make me a card. So the 2000 baht- which is about six dollars and some cents- goes to a new Star Wars book. Oh, and I got a shirt. It's pink and stuff, but it's okay. I'm glad I got it.

The boy I play ping pong with everyday is buying me a lightsaber-my very first one, so that's another awesome gift. A friend of mines gave me a penguin, which I named Ewok. I got two cards from my best friends- popped up photoshop Star Wars style.

I got a heart attack when I got the Lord of the Rings poster from my art teacher. I begged him for it for a very long time. Legolas was in the middle, looking epic. Yes, Voronda. Mines.

For those knowing that my birthday is on the 28th, my timezone is different so even if you type me happy birthday on 27th I receive it on the 28th since I typed up my last post on the 27th, which is 26th in your timezones... ugh, getting myself confused too.

It's only half a day, I'm at school right now. I finished all my homework and essays real early because I love doing them, so now I'm doing this. I hope I get a cake when I go home, but I shouldn't keep my hopes up high since I got more than I hoped already.

Today seems like just another day to me, but an important one. It officially marks that I can be a Padawan, but sadly it also marks that I can't get my Hogwarts letter anymore. Ah well. I have some regrets like that being thirteen. I know I'd miss being twelve sometimes, but hey, at least my mom won't squabble over me watching a PG 13 movie anymore.

I may be 13 now, but I'm still me. You know, somethings never change. I would still be that crazy star wars nut squealing over Legolas and trying to use wingardium leviosa (or the Force) to move an object.

Hey y'all! It's me... :)

I'm back. I feel as if I haven't posted a lot lately, so here I am. There's so many things I wanna talk about, but I don't have much time. My mom is hollering at me to go to sleep, even though it's still early. As always...

Anyway, first things first. I wanted to tell you all that I'm alive, breathing, and fine.

Hehe... and I'm still myself.

Second things second. It's my 13th birthday tomorrow!!! Yay! Some of you already know *cough*Voronda*cough* Of course, my birthday is pretty much another day of my life where nothing special happens (unless the one boy I pester about Star Wars everyday at the ping pong table buys me a lightsaber). It's still a mark though. And it's a mark that I can officially should be a Padawan, if I'm a Jedi. 

This is how I'm celebrating my birthday. Writing my name on the sand and blowing it like Harry Potter.

Third things third. THE HOBBIT.

I'm pretty sure that everyone here watched the two trailers, celebrated Hobbit Day, and is excited about December. I didn't do a post about it sadly, but I won't be posting it since I'm pretty sure you all had watched it!

I have read the LOTR books again just for the pleasure. But I discovered that it has been a month since I had read a Star Wars book seriously, so I need to get back to that. I can't let the magic die inside me. Ever.

I also read The Giver (which is epic) for school, and the 101 ways to bug series (which I love) and Pleng's Song, which is published by the fifth grade teacher at my school. Sad ending.

I have a thought. I want to see everyone's face personally, but I don't think that we can... because you all are thousand and thousand of miles away from me. I'm thinking that we should discuss something together, not really as a podcast, or maybe Skype each other about Star Wars and things. What do you think? It's just a thought. I'm too busy to think a lot about it now anyway. 

My book. I'm letting two trusted teachers read it. But right now I'm pulling my hair out trying to finish it. Time is not a luxury I can afford, even as much as I want to.

I'm enjoying eighth grade. It's really busy and I have so many stuff piling on me. So I can't blog a lot. Oh, you'll still see me for the Clone Wars season five.

New Facebook Page!

Hey everyone!
I just wanted to let you know that I made a new Facebook page as a tribute to all my fandoms. I did not expect much here but I thought I'd give it a try. I'm all for new admins so if you are a fan of Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, the Hunger Games, and especially Star Wars I'd love to add you in. I know some of the regular readers here love a lot them and also Pirates, my newest fandom. Just comment below if you're willing to be admin!
This page is basically something to make you smile everyday. All of the posts aren't going to be related to the fandoms. Some of them will just be from 9gag or maybe sometimes a new music video I like, but most of them are about Star Wars and my other fandoms.

Oh, so long ago... when I was eight, I think. 2010 or somewhere around that.

The Phantom Menace.

I don't know, really. It's like I'm drawn to it like the Force draws something. I don't even know when I started becoming a fan. It's like I've always known that Star Wars is a part of me. Back then a was in a closed world, and I don't know much about internet. It was when I had Facebook and discovered that there's an Ahsoka page that I realized I can connect with others, which made me become a die-hard fan. I found I can discuss the books and movies. 

6. Why did you decide to blog about Star Wars?

A link from the Ahsoka page to the blog Padawan's Journal, which linked to other blogs until I decided to make one and become a Star Wars blogger.

7. Which movie is your favorite?

I can't choose...

Ahsoka or Obi-Wan.

Darth Vader. He conveys the symbol, and in the end he turned good, which strengthened my belief that everyone has good in them and can be redeemed.

They are awesome. 'Nuff said.

ROTS adult novelization by Matthew Woodring Stover.

No... sadly. I'm still mulling over it.

Prequel, unlike most people. Neither can live while the other survive, even though that's Harry Potter, the meaning applies here.

No, there's none in my country. Sadly.

Hard to choose. Really hard. Force theme, I guess.

Siri Tachi when she was a child. Tom-boyish, athletic sometimes, impatient. Though I get straight A's, and I don't know about her.

Togruta.

No, sadly.

Siri Tachi.

Qui-Gon for style, if that's what you mean. Ventress's for lightsaber form.

All three of them, though I'm not fluent yet.

Anakin and Obi-Wan's. Heart breaking, intense, and awesome.

A Short Update on me

I don't know if you think these kind of posts are boring or not. To me, it's not. You may not be a famous person I sometimes I like reading about your life and relate to it. So I'm going to tell you a bit of mines...

I'm still my usual self- more or less. A crazy Star Wars nerd reading Lord of the Rings again, and thinking about how many points I can earn for my Harry Potter house team on Facebook. 

This year I'm in eighth grade. School started three weeks or so ago and I'm happy. I missed one point in becoming the president of middle school, which is a shame, but I'm still me. I don't get to choose an elective because I got a good grade in math last year and my mom wants me to learn extra math for advanced. Did I mention how much I hate math? But I'm still me. I'm fond of that saying.

My classes are all very easy as usual, except French and PE. I got a new teacher for PE. With him I already twisted my knee and hit my head with a basketball and had a black eye. Seriously. 

On the bright side, I got a new laptop- a macbook pro, which is awesome. I named it My Precious Datapad- My Precious from Gollum's famous saying, and Datapad from Star Wars (Duh). I got my brother's hand-me-down phone, which is the first time EVER I had a phone with a touch screen. Now I can listen to Call me Maybe or Payphone or any of my favorite songs easily. On the down side, my mother gave him a Samsung Galaxy S III. I'm pretty surprised I'm not jealous. Maybe it was because of getting the laptop, but he also got a new one entering a new grade. My laptop costs twice his does, though.

I discovered a new interest: Ping Pong. As a child, I trained for ping pong. I was talented in it, but then I stopped playing when I went to Africa. I won one competition then. Now, the school has new tables so I decided to join the boys playing. It really made my happy- like I'm discovering a lost piece of me that has been buried since I was that happy and carefree child. Goodness, I'm not even a teen yet and I'm already saying I miss my childhood. I'm happy to say that I didn't loose my skills that much and I can still beat 'em all, much to the pleasure of my teachers, since I'm like the only girl playing.

There will be a ping pong competition in my school this Monday. I can't wait. I'm already pumped up, I trained a bit more with my father, and I'm looking forward to it. I can't deny that I'm a but apprehensive though.

So that's my life so far summed up. I have petty problems with my brother and with my mom (by the way, I learnt never to open my mouth when she's angry), but I'm still me. May the Force be with me for the ping pong competition, and may the Force be with you... always.

One more thing: Always. I noticed it's in all my favorite fandoms.

Hey guys! For me, school has started like, three weeks ago and I feel like all my work has been slouching- including posts on my blog. So. I'm finally doing a fan art post- something I haven't done for a month. Thanks to Robyn, as always, for looking at them. I decided to upload my original work as well as some of the ones edited on her advice, but only if they have a pretty big difference since I can't upload many pictures due to faulty connection. Here we go!

This one is dedicated for you, Shena :) I love the Siriwan couple.

I noticed there was a Jedi Order Symbol with a lightsaber glow and a I love Star Wars picture with a death star heart on it, but no I love Star Wars with a lightsaber glow. So I did one with a lightsaber glow with all the known lightsaber colors. The purple of Mace Windu is hardly seen, though.

You regular readers would know how much I love Ahsoka. So here's a desktop background I made for other Ahsokaholics.

With the suggestion Robyn gave me... it looked better. You can even put the icons on the right. Yay!

I was trying to make a lightsaber glow, failing miserably but giving interesting results.

I tried to make this piece confusing and painful to show Vader's emotions. Turned out pretty good. Robyn and I are still working on a better version.
