Star Wars gifs

*jumps down from platform* Hello there! Some of you probably know me, but for those who don't, my name is Helen and I blog over at the Life of a Musician and Dancer and Star Wars Here & There.
Most of you probably know that Solace recently guest posted over at Edessa's with some amazingly epic LOTR gifs. I thought I would copy her idea...except with Star Wars gifs. Hope you enjoy!

I love the look on Han’s face as the realization that Luke and Leia are siblings finally hits him, mid-kiss.

Guest Post on HNED and some random stuff

Hey guys! Just wanted to let you know that I did a post on Holonet Entertainment Daily on Lord of the Rings gifs. Thank you Edessa for letting me post on there!
Guys, also prepare for an overdose of epicness in that post. Especially on Legolas.

Now that I thought of it, do any of you want to do guest posts? If you do, comment your email down here and tell me if you want it deleted or not once I got it to save your privacy. Unless I already have your email, of course. Oh, if you do, please put guest posts as a label and whatever other category it falls into.

I've been very busy with competitions and essays to do. However, I got a gold medal on the ping pong competition! Yay! Now school is closed with October break and hopefully I can get some slack cut off.

A post on the latest episode and my fan art is coming soon! Most of my fan art is about Taylor Swift since I fell even harder for her now that her new album Red is coming out in October 22nd! I liked her since two years ago and now, looking back, her music really brings a happy smile to my face almost like Star Wars does.

So... until next time, May the Force be with you! :D

PS- Shena... I'm dying for the new chapter of your fanfic.

I've been tagged again!

Thanks to Shena and Helen for giving me the the 11 tag award again!

11 random things about myself
1) I seriously can't wait for Taylor Swift's new album Red! October 22 come quickly!
2) I'm typing this in Math Class
3) I just watched Twilight since I'm curious about why people hate it. It's not that bad... really.
4) When I'm sad I imagine myself laughing on a horse next to Legolas... the sun streaming down my face and the horse galloping to the lake, splashing water in out faces... it's paradise. Took away all reality. In the shadows would be Obi-Wan watching and smiling.
5) I look at my recently acquired LOTR poster every night before I go to sleep. That's like one of the only poster I have.
6) One Direction's "Live while we're young" is stuck in my head. I love that song!
7) I did not have a good night last night. I don't think I want to talk about it either.
8) My future husband would have to accept that he'll need to give me the One Ring from LOTR as my engagement ring, marry like Will Turner and Elizabeth Swan from POTC, unless he won't be my husband.
9) Because of my high expectations, I never had a boyfriend. I don't think I want one. Too young, even though every one else in my grade either has one or looking for one.
10) When let down, my Padawan Braid almost touches my waist.
11) Random Fact: I can't think of a random fact. Does this random fact count?
Update: Got one. I did horribly on my math test. I'm always good at math, even if I hate it. This is I'm not alone though- the whole class did bad.

I'm going to randomly choose questions from Shena's and Helen's blog.

1) What is your favorite time of the day?
Afternoon when I finish school to evening, watching TV.

2) What is your favorite movie?
Star Wars. LOTR comes close, as well as Harry Potter. The Hunger Games would be on this list but I'm more in favor of the books because of the shaky camera and stuff.

3) What are your top five favorite soundtracks?
Force theme, Across the Stars, Fellowship of the Rings, In Dreams, My heart will go on.
Hard to choose. Marry Me and POTC theme song fits somewhere in there too.

4) What is your dream life?

Unrealistic:
A Jedi and an Elf being with Legolas, and good friends with Strider.

Realistic:
Writing something as close to my unrealistic dream as possible without cliches and getting my book to be a best seller, seeing it become a movie and being in it with Orlando Boom.

Well, that's a bit unrealistic too though.

5) What is/was your favorite subject in school and why?
English because I love books and writing. Creativity is awesome.

6) If you could co-star with any actor, who would it be?
Orlando Bloom. No need for explanation.

7) Which Star Wars book is your favorite?(if you don't read the EU, which Clone Wars episode is your favorite?)
ROTS novelization

8) Harry Potter or The Hunger Games and why?
Harry Potter. Hunger Games is really nice, but the second and third book is not that good. In contrast, Harry Potter is great till the very end. Harry Potter taught me so much. More that the Hunger Games.

9) What is your favorite song?
It often changes, but right now I can't choose between Fearless by Taylor Swift and Begin Again... by Taylor Swift too.

10) Which member of the Star Wars cast would you like to meet?
I don't know exactly... but I think I'd go for Keira Knightley. While she has a small role in TPM, I still like her and her character in POTC.

11) Which of your favorite books would you like to see made into a movie?
I don't know exactly. I think The Giver would be really nice as a movie though.

My Questions:

1) What are your fandoms?
2) Do you do fan art? If so, can you post it?
3) What is your opinion of Ahsoka and why?
4) Do you like to write?
5) Would you rather be an Elf or a bounty hunter?
6) Explain your perfect fantasy relaxation place.
7) Tell us a strange talent you have.
8) What are things that make you happy?
9) Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings?
10) What's the last song that's stuck in your head?
11) Have you ever been in love?

Yeah, they're really random.

Thanks again to both of you, I enjoyed this greatly! I award this to Covert Knight, Faith, Satine, Jamie, Robyn, James, Arda, Voronda, Lindy, Aayla, and Edessa! May the Force be ever in your favor!

Front Runners Review

"To seek something is to believe in its possibility"

I don't have much of an opinion on this episode, but overall, I liked it. Possible spoilers ahead.

The whole idea is very interesting to me. The plot was great. It seemed as if this is kind of like a grey area, where one side sees the other as black and their own side as white. We're supposed to see the side of the rebels as good, which I do. I think it's interesting for the king called them terrorists. The war is messed up...

I'm starting to like Steela a lot, despite the love triangle going on in the movie. I love her attitude, her skills, and her character. Ahsoka is still a bit strange like in the last episode. Anakin telling her about how he understands is really interesting, like dropping a hint about him and Padme. The end of the episode is really awesome too; echoing Leia's "he's my brother" line. I wonder what Lux thinks of it all, but we definitely know for sure that Ahsoka wasn't okay with it. Despite Saw and Steela looking pretty alike, it never occurred to me that they are related.

The animations are really well done. The battle droids were stupid but funny, like always. This time, like the last episode, there was a really clear goal, which I liked. At least the separatists learnt not to control the droids in one place, but they should have figured out about the power generator...

Filoni hinted that this arc will have something to do with the Rebel Alliance later on. I can't wait to see how this arc turns out. Until next time, May the Force be with you!

Note: something's a bit wrong with my blog- no page views in history at all, comments not showing up, etc. If you see anything out of place, please tell me. Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks!

What if...

There's so many what ifs in Star Wars. The Jedi don't go back and dwell on what ifs, they accept the mistake and move on. But sometimes it helps you in the future to look back and reflect. Jedi do that sometimes.

So... let's see.

What if Anakin never gotten the dream?
Most would say that the Jedi would never have been purged, the Republic wouldn't fall, the empire would never have risen, and there would be no Vader.
People would say it would be a happy ending, with Anakin probably leaving the Order, wit hLuke and Leia happy with Padme, and Obi-Wan as an uncle but still a Jedi.

But...

Then why did George Lucas make the story like that? You can't just say that it is for the story to be interesting, or because the original trilogy came first.

It's because it's meant to be, for me. It is because it is the will of the Force.

It is the Force that gave him that dream in the first place. He saw the vision of the future through the Force.

So back to that question. What if Anakin never got the dream?

There's many possibilities. The dream is a crucial point in the whole story.  He might never have turned to the dark side. But I believe that the republic is destined to fall so it can rise again stronger and more powerful than ever.

That kind of sounds like Separatist thinking, but as we know, the separatists aren't really evil, are they? They're just unknowing pawns of evil. The republic is really corrupt. In the end Obi-Wan really thought that the republic wasn't worth fighting for in the first place. Man, the Clone Wars is not black and white... most of it is gray.

I believe Sidious would find another way to ensnare Anakin, and history would turn out completely differently for the Star Wars galaxy. By the time Sidious figured that out the children would probably have been born... I couldn't see where that can lead.

There are many other points that can stop the Star Wars history. For one, if the house of Palpatine really loved their son... he would never have turned to Sidious.

This is just something that popped into my mind often and I think about it. I think too much. I understand now why the Jedi said not to dwell on what-ifs and feel instead of thinking. I get headaches when I do. =)

So... Until next time,

May the Force be with you!
