Favorite Couples

Valentines day is coming up! I know many people are doing this, and I'm going to do it too. I'm going to post my top ten sweetest lovebirds and three ones that I love in a fun way!

So, without further ado, let's get started!

#10
Susan/Caspian

I think they're just so sweet together. Even though it wasn't obvious until the end of Prince Caspain, I can kind of feel my fangirl heart flutter every time they exchange glances. It would be higher up in the list if Susan wasn't technically a thousand years older, and it wouldn't work out since Susan, in the end, belonged to earth.

#9
Taylor Squared
I know you guys aren't into this... but yeah. I think they're so sweet together, even though it ended already. Taylor Swift and Taylor Launter, c'mon... if they're married, they'll both be Taylor Launter. How cool is that?

#8
Clace
Clary and Jace from the Mortal Instruments. Those who read the series would probably like it. I like how they see each other differently in each book, but their love never wavers. They way the argue is hilarious!

#7
Finnick/Annie

Awww, this is the best Hunger Games couple ever! Forget Team Peeta or Team Gale (Actually, I like Gale), this is just so... *sob* They're both so unique. Right after they're married and everything, war tears them apart...

#6
Four/Tris
Even though their characters has potential to be better than what they are, I really like them. Four may be a jerk at times, but that's one thing I like about him. He doesn't see Tris as a weakling and he doesn't give her sympathy, or at least his eyes doesn't show it. For some reason I like that. His dark hair and everything makes me like him so much, and Tris definitely deserves him after all she struggled through dauntlessly.

#5
Siriwan
*sob* It would be higher up if it was meant to be. *sob* This doesn't need explaining. Just two perfect Jedi together, that completes the picture. See? I even made an edit of them. Obi-Wan looking outwards... towards Siri, whom had become one with the Force.

#4
Ronmione
I like Hermione more than Ron, but they are so good together. After all their bickering and jealousy about other people they're dating, they finally got it right together. From the time they were children they were so sweet. For some reason I like couples that knew each other since they were children. But of course, a lot of couples are exceptions.

#3
Willabeth
Now HERE is where the fangirl butterflies in my stomach turn to mini-dragons. Look at them! They knew each other since childhood too, and they're just so sweet! Both are so badass too. In the end, 10 years apart, yet they remain faithful with a child.

#2
Han/Leia
So... the scoundrel falls in love with the princess. I like that. Leia could have gotten a prince or something, but no, she chose him. I'm sure you all already know how sweet they are, so moving on.

#1
Percabeth
IT'S GOTTA BE THEM! *wild fangirl moment* I don't think I need to relive the last moment I had with them again, or I'll sob and go jump out of a window. But for those who read this post (go read it if you want a fangirl on the loose), they know how fangirly I get, and it isn't pretty. I could be screaming "OMG, WHY DID YOU DO THIS TO ME, CRUEL AUTHOR?" all day.

Let go... NEVER. They're staying together. Forever. No matter what they go through. Always.

Special Ships

Drapple
I just like this. In the movie Harry Potter, Draco moves around eating apples and I find that cute. Of course, I'm shipping Draco and apples in a fun way. However, seriously, JK Rowling did state that Draco had feelings for Hermoine but couldn't interact with her (since she's a "mudblood") without being shunned by his family. That's the cause of bitter feelings. Dramoine. It exists. But I still like Drapple more.

Alec/Magnus
From the Mortal Instruments. A Shadow hunter and a Warlock. This is the only gay shipping I have, and it's sad in the end, so it ends up in special ships. But I won't spoil it for you if you haven't read the books.

Legolas and ME
You all know this, and you all get this. No need to explain. <3 I would put a picture, but I don't think a photoshopped picture of me and Legolas would do justice.

That's it! For Valentine's day... (I'm still in Percy Jackson mode) May Aphrodite be with you!

State 7 things about yourself.
Nominate 15 bloggers for this award and link to them.
Notify those bloggers of the nomination and the award’s requirements

Thank you, James and Shena!

Now for the facts. I'll try to make them what my usual readers don't know.

1) I just had my braces off. I'm wearing retainers now. I hate them. I can't pronounce words properly in them. I wonder what will happen when I go to school tomorrow?

2) I've read around 20 books since the start of 2013, since they're all good books. Usually I'd read less, but most of them Star Wars books. Sadly, out of the 20 books I read only a few are Star Wars books.

3) I own/admin around 7 pages on Facebook.

4) Since I'm going to high school in a few months, these weeks are the craziest I've seen in a long time. I took ASMA math tests, ISA testing, and next week is scheduled for MAP testing. I'm also preparing for SAT.

5) I really want to learn guitar, and I will finally have the money to buy one soon.

6) I got the boost of money to buy guitar from "Ang-pao" money for Chinese New Year (I'm part Chinese, even though I don't feel Chinese at all).

7) After Valentines day, I won't be seeing my parents for a few months. They're going to Pakistan (for those who don't know, my dad's a diplomat so we travel a lot) and I'll be following them for freshman, then I'll come back here to finish high school.

Now I award...
Faith
Robyn
James
Jamie
Shena
Aalya
Covert Knight
Savanna
Tahl
Lindy
Edessa
Stilwater
Arda
Voronda
Helen

I don't know if I can award those who are already awarded, much less those who awarded me, but I want to. Hehe. They all inspire me a lot.

I'm glad I did this, and I look forward to your awards! May the Force be with you!

Updated Fandom Identification Card

After not posting for quite awhile (sorry), it feels kinda weird to make two posts on the same day. However, I want to get back into the habit of blogging every now and then, so why not start very frequently?

So, last time I made a Fandom Identification Card, I was pretty happy with my results. Back then, I don't know what most of them are. Now I do. And I'm not that happy with the results. I don't know why it matters, but it just does. I suppose it's like saying why does Star Wars matter to you.

I took the test five times and combined it honestly, but also based on what I want. For example, if I get Sith thrice and Stormtrooper twice, I'd choose Sith of course. However, if it's Sith twice and Jedi twice (and bounty hunter once), I choose Jedi because I want to be a Jedi more than Sith. As Dumbledore said, it is our choices that makes us who we are, not our abilities...

Moving on.

My results weren't very different from last time, now that I look at it. Let's analyze them up.

Harry Potter: As I told you, I want to be in Ravenclaw. Ever since I read the books. I suppose Gryffindor won't be too bad, since our protagonists are on there. However, they're known for their quick temper and arrogance- not that Ravenclaw isn't arrogant, though. I don't mind being Hufflepuff or Slytherin. I have two accounts in Pottermore- I'm in Ravenclaw one, and Hufflepuff the other. Knowledge is the most valuable thing on earth, or as Rowena says it, "Wit beyond measure is a man's greatest treasure." Oh, and of course, My favorite character the borderline genius Hermoine was almost sorted into Ravenclaw, and she would have if it didn't go against fate.

Hunger Games: I'm glad I got into district four. Same district as Finnick! Yay! It's main production has everything to do with water, and for some reason I felt happy when water's around. I love the sound of raindrops, I can think best in the shower, my favorite childhood show is the little mermaid, and of course, Percy Jackson comes on the list as the son of sea god.

Twilight: Nothing much to explain. I did get a tie between human and vampire with one werewolf, but I chose vampire because it's just good for me. After reading the Mortal Instruments, eternity is a long time to face and everything, and I admit I wasn't sure. But I should be a human before, so I'd get to experience both.

Lord of the Rings: Same as before, and I'm really glad. I'm into archery and everything. This is my team on Facebook too. Like vampire, there's eternity to live too.

Star Wars: This is, of course, obvious since when I took the test Jedi was on my mind. I would accept nothing else, and I'm most elated here. There's nothing much to say if I don't get fangirly about it, and I don't think I want a fangirl attack right now.

Divergent: This is what I want too. To be free, even if it means to die young. Not boring Amity, or evil Erudite. I know I liked Ravenclaw better than Gryffindor, but here Duantless seems better than Erudite. The tattoos and everything kind makes me consider, but I can be like Tris. Okay, I don't really like her as a protagonist, but yeah. I'll be like Four. I kind of have a fangirly crush on him. Unlike some other male characters, he thinks females are just like men and when they're weak he doesn't really look at them in sympathy. This may seem cold, but I kind of like it that way. Anyway, the dude who I *cough* like at school is the same.

Mortal Instruments: I got a Warlock once, and that would be really cool, but I prefer Shadowhunter- their skills, courage, and everything. Here, I don't think eternity would suit me. I also like Jace.

Percy Jackson: *Squeal* Okay, I was nervous about this. I thought I'd be a mortal- and I almost was. But yay- Demigod! I'd have it no other way. Like Shadowhunters, most live a dangerous life, but that's where the fun is. I'd be in Apollo's cabin like Will Solace... but I also like Athena and Poseidon. Poseidon won't really be possible since he's one of the big three, and I'd like to live with my mom more than dad. I won't say more or I'll erupt in fangirly fits.

Narnia: That's exactly how I'd like it. I got Narnian and Talmarine once, but I like this one. There's nothing much to say here. I'd love to be like Peter the Magnificent and all that.

Dr. Who: I'm the Doctor. Hell yeah! That's all that needs to be said.

The rest I'm still, sadly, not familiar with, but they seem cool. Klingon is nice in Star Trek, but I don't know a lot about them. I want to read the Games of Thrones, but I heard it's a bit inappropriate. Human in Battlestar Galactica is nice, since it's the only one I can be myself. His Dark Materials: Will's Oxford seems nice, but maybe it's just because the name sounds cool.

That's it for now! Dinner time! So... May the Force, Gods, Odds, Blessings of Elves and Men, and whatnot fandom you're in, be with you!

Shine On

First of all, I know I haven't posted in a long time. Mostly it's because I'm starting high school soon, so I'm taking all sorts of ridiculous tests. Secondly, I'm still thinking about Percy Jackson (by the way, you need to read Son of Sobek short story preview if you haven't already). Lastly, I have so much on my mind I don't know how to write it down. I've read lots of good books in the past month- Divergent and Mortal Instruments, for example.

So, moving on.

shineonaward

The Shine On Award Rules:
1. Link back to the blogger who nominated you.
2. Post the badge on your blog. It’s pretty. Do it.
3. Answer the questions posed to you. Regardless of how out-of-left-field they may be.
4. Nominate five bloggers who shine a little light in your day and be sure to notify them.
5. Issue some questions you’d like them to answer.

1) Thank you so much Jamie for awarding me! I'm really honored. You're awesome. I've been wanting to post something too.

2) Done! :)

3)
What's your favorite comedy or TV show that you've seen?

I like Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Suite Life on Deck, Hannah Montana, and all those things on Disney channel now long gone. Right now it's Star Wars The Clone Wars. I also like Ellen DeGeneres show; I watch it everyday for a laugh.
But it doesn't really count, since I watch them online. I don't have a cable TV.

The Avengers or the X-Men and why?

Avengers. The move appeals to me more.

What is one of your favorite carnival rides?

Roller Coaster! Especially the ones in long dark tunnels where we can't actually see.

Who do you like more in films, the heroes or the villians? Why?

Heroes. I stick with good guys. Most of the times they're also hotter.

Is there something that comes with the territory of blogging that you struggle with–is it hard for you to write your posts, schedule them, come up with the post ideas, act?

Sometimes I can't get myself to finish writing a post because it seems as if something is missing from making it better. Sometimes I don't get ideas, which is more often these days.

Favorite ice cream?

Vanilla. I hate chocolate, as most of you know.

If you could meet your blogging friends, who would you like to meet and where and how would you like to meet them?
I'd like to meet in a Star Wars convention or maybe some where full of nature. I don't really care, as long as we get to meet! As for how I would like to meet you guys, probably... I don't know. Maybe as a surprise?
4) Let's see, Bloggers who light up my world like nobody else... ha. I'm going off singing again.
Shena Tolkala
James The Movie Reviewer
Faith
Padmé Arya Éowyn Istalrí Skywalker
James Junkers
Covert Knight
That's more than five. Oh well. I can't bear to take anyone out.
5) My questions:
-Who's your role model?
-Why do you blog?
-How do you view Twilight?
-Describe your style of writing.
-When do you get a stroke of inspiration most? (FYI, Mines is in the shower. I love water.)
-What do you do with your stroke of inspiration? For example, I rush to write in my notebook and then type it up later.
I'm very curious about these and look forward to seeing your answers! Have fun!
May the Force, Gods, Odds, Blessings of Elves and Men, and whatnot fandom you're in, be with you!
